I specialize in depression, anxiety, Bi-Polar disorders, stress and anger management, and PTSD. I use Cognitive-Behavioral therapy to help clients change how they feel by changing the way they think and behave. By learning how to more calmly accept a personal problem, not only do we feel better, but we put ourselves in a better position to use our intelligence, knowledge, energy, and resources.
I also am a Level II EMDR practitioner. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is used to heal post-traumatic stress (PTSD), as well other traumas, anxieties and phobias. After EMDR processing, clients report that the emotional distress related to the memory has been eliminated, or greatly decreased, and that they have gained cognitive insights. Lastly, I have appeared on the Dr. Phil Show three times.
